Just kidding, it's up now.

The film is 2:32, 3,537 frames. I'll show it at class tonight, and most likely upload it tomorrow.

I'm on schedule. The film is going to be approximately 2:20, 3,500 frames.

Today marks the completion of the second scene out of three in The Film. It figures that the third is the longest and most difficult of the three. It also figures that I only have a week to do it in. Well, 8 days. It's turned out fairly well so far (with exceptions in certain scenes), but it's been very difficult. You'll see why when it's done.

I started filming yesterday, so, I've been very, very slow. Hopefully this doesn't mean I won't finish in time, but it probably will mean the finished movie will end up fairly short. Hopefully that's okay with my instructor, eh? Before I started the project I'm currently filming, I thought of such a good idea that I ended up with a big, complicated project, larger than the deadline would allow, which wasted quite a bit of time. So, this project will hopefully act as a warm-up for the idea that I really feel needs to be given justice, rather than 2 weeks.

I'm currently taking a film making class at West Valley College, and the current project's theme is completely our decision . . . There should be another animation finished by December 15th! It could end up anywhere from 3 to 15 minutes, so I may be very busy very soon.

More extremely good news! Frankenstein won 1st place in the Heroes and Villains contest, and Flux & Strength-Man! came in 8th. Again, see them both here!

The Brickfilms.com server went down for maintenance a few days ago, and it motivated me to clean up my site a little bit. I also ditched my "three M's" motif for a separate "News" page. That gets rid of the ugly sidebar. Fortunately, everything is still orange as can be (or unfortunately, however you may want to look at things). And extremely good news! Two new movies are now on the Movies page, both created for the Heroes and Villains contest. Toph co-directed "Flux & Strength-Man!," and I did "Frankenstein" on my own. See them both here!
