Hehe, it's been a while. As you can see, the site has been changed. Orange has signed a contract with Blue, and they're getting along pretty well (though you'l notice Orange got slightly more logo space, and the more important word in the title).

And now the news I should have updated the site with a long time ago:

1. Frankenstein recieved Best Overall Film in the BAMPA awards, quite a surprise for me, and a big honor. Thanks again to everyone who made the BAMPA awards happen, and/or served as a judge.
2. Grace won the FIG competition. Yay!
3. Melodramedy was voted first in the Entrant's Choice section of the second 24 Hour animation contest. Yeah, and it was disqualified because I didn't submit a ballot. But still the coolness remains, I think.

See those films on the movies page.

Check out the Brickfilms.com Podcast! The Brickfilms.com podcast was featured on the podcast frontpage on iTunes today, which resulted in a big jump in popularity. So now I'm greedy, and want it to get even more attention . . . Especially since Frankenstein is the 2nd episode listed (and is currently the longest).

The Brickfilming Achievement in Motion Picture Arts (or BAMPA) Awards nominations for 2005 were announced today, and Frankenstein, my film, was nominated for the following 5 awards:

¥ Best Overall Film
¥ Best Animation
¥ Best Cinematography
¥ Best Screenplay
¥ Best Sound Design

This is really a big deal for me, because I personally have a lot of respect for the judges, many of which are very good film makers, and so I value their opinions a great deal.
The list of judges is as follows:

David West
Rainsford
Logan
Toph
Watson Films
LowweeK
Saulgoode
Jay
Dewfilms
Hali
Grayscale
